The budget should include the Tower + Peripherals (Monitor, Keyboard, Mouse).

Location is Mumbai.

Budget is flexible, +/- 10% but would love if it stays within 1.4L.

Use case is PvP games like Valorant, Story mode games. Purely gaming.

This is someone's first gaming PC and a dream for them. New parts only. Please leave suggestions for parts!

What resolution are you targeting ? 1440p/4k?
What is the size of case you like ? Itx/full tower ?
It is for a friend.
I guess 1440p should be enough, 4K would require higher budget.

Case, ideally mid tower should suffice. Doesn't necessarily need Full tower or SFF Case.

126k for core build, 16-18k for monitor (Acer XV272U V3, check it regularly on amazon) & rest for peripherals

I'll prefer brown switch. Check KBs here:

Mouse: I use G305 but it will double click. I am willing to repair it, so bought it. There are more options now in market vs 1 year ago.

For cheaper, maybe check Kreo. But I highly recommend at least a RK mech KB.

Thank you so much!
Any issues with warranty for Asrock/Sapphire cards I should know about?

Sapphire is one of the best AMD brands. No issues with warranty in India. Asrock is also good. Would recommend purchasing from a well known strore in your city.
I remember reading something like warranty dependant on import date and not on invoice date. Maybe it was issue with flipkart old stock only. Can't find the thread now. I *love* Sapphire cards by the way, I still have my Sapphire Tri-X OC R9 290 (painted, and still working, although runs like a space heater).
@napstersquest any place in Pune you can vouch for or you would recommend or is it better to go to Lamington road?
There's Arihant near Tilak Road. Or a there's a shop in Camp (Rohan Computers) whose owner I have quite an acquaintance with. For Acro stuff, I generally ask the distributor directly.
