Yup. FT and OCCRP have already Adani guilty of this - and that it lead to massive increase in pollution levels. Now TANGEDCO has filed a case, let's see how that goes, although I've not positive on any developments. Just for the year for which the enquiry is conducted, Adani benefitted over 6000 CR by passing low grade environmentally disastrous coal as higher grade coal. For the people supporting him, he is literally ****ing the air and lungs of you and everyone you hold dear. Let that sink him before blindly playing the patriotism card.

This one looks like a weak case. You can always draw a line from a rich person to some suspicious asset. Nothing particularly interesting.

Short sellers have far more accountability than any of the others accused as they have to risk their existence to conduct the investigative journalism and then transparently publish the report.
It is naive to think that Adani's coincidental rise has nothing to do with corruption and facilitation at several levels.
The narrative from the government and its agencies will again be on foreign interference. It is incorrect to associate nationalism with Adani (and its backers) as they are at the forefront of siphoning off national wealth to offshore accounts.
The Indian market has been all-speculation for several years now. Logical FII investors will pull their money but irrational retail investors may keep pouring in money for time being, so no point in speculating on the overall market impact.

If USA market cools down till next fedreserve interest rate meet, they will be investing there only. Once decision to reduce interest rate is announced market there might ramp up. It's a possibility, also may be the reason why there is higher additions in IT stocks. Therefore a possibility that hindenburg is tying an attempt orchestrating such a move for themselves and for others. Don't think such a game's going to pay though.
Fiis have been selling record numbers since more than a year, anyone saying otherwise are living in fools paradise. Retail has been the superhero keeping the markets up. Else markets would have been trouble a long time back

Is it just retailers ? Isn't there some kind of mandate that MFs, domestic institutional investors, etc. have to buy stocks ?
SIPs keep on adding so much as individual investors automated that investment method without thinking about market situations ? Local institutions have to invest due to govt. mandates, etc. ?
