Any Jio Airfiber user around here?
I recently learned that Jio has started offering Airfiber in my area at the cost of ₹3500 (including "booking" fee of ₹1000).
The employee at their office couldn't give satisfactory answers regarding the concerns I had raised to him, viz. network quality (especially during cloudy/rainy/power outage days), general speed and latency issues. And also the use of the term "fiber" in this service. At first glance it seems like a "WiMax" service (wireless internet using receptors installed on the top of houses and buildings) with better receiver/router/antenna whatever the thing which is installed is called.
I know from my experience that wireless network are prone to weather conditions.
And yeah 5G is also a gimmick where I live.
Anyway the only thing that I like about this is the cost. ₹3500 is relatively cheap than wired ones in my area.
Related thread, this is why I got excited about the Airfiber service.

How much does fiber cable costs and in what length do they come per coil?
Where I live right now we don't get BSNL broadband net and fiber has to be connected way from the highway road or town area. We don't have Jio/Airtel fiber, only some local private players (via Shree North East, Assam). They also charge a lot for the connection. As if that was not bad enough I...
