Graphic Cards Used GPU Prices Late 2024?

I am considering either a 3060 12GB or a 3080 but I'm not sure of what the going rates for these GPUs are these days.

What do you guys think?

Check out FB marketplace/zoukart FB group. I recently sold my 1080Ti for 11k and bought RX6800 for 25k there. These are good times to buy used GPU if you know how to spot good cards.
What I have noticed lately is that you can find many 8GB cards for great prices. More vram than that and owners expect a premium.

25k for a 6800 sounds like a good deal.

True about the VRAM thing. You can thank unoptimized video games for that.

It is both, some modern games are terrible with vram usage. But the fact that nvidia just put 8gb vram for 3060ti, 3070 and 3070ti also points to corporate greed.
I bet most of the cheap 8gb vram used cards are these cards.
Appreciate you guys understanding me going a bit off the topic.

@slippery if you aren't too focused on having ray tracing and working on machine learning, you can get a used 6700xt/6800/6800xt at good prices.

Absolutely, 8GB is pretty atrocious, especially since both variants of the 3070 were nerfed because of it.

3080 with 12GB is also equally bad but I am still considering it.

I already have a 6700XT but not impressed by AMD's stack for AI/ML workloads.

12GB 3080s are rare to find. Used 3080s are by and large only the 10GB ones. I have an FE, myself

Expect to pay (depending on brand, age, and warranty status):

27-30k for a 3080
33-38k for a 3080 Ti
45-50k for a 3090

What's the going rate for 3050 (8gb version not the recent downgraded 6gb version) & 3060/Ti version nowadays & the typical warranty left on them? Need them not for gaming but some other task.
