Hello guys
I am looking to buy 27 inch 2k monitor in the upcoming sale.
I read through previous threads and found out lot of people recommending Acer Nitro V3. But when i went through the recent reviews of the monitor on Amazon. There are lot of negative reviews. So i wanted to know if it's safe to buy this?

Can someone also recommend any other options ?
Main usages:
1. Programming
2. Media consumption

Thank you

If gaming is not preferred, go with LG ultrafine (21-23k), Samsung 4k monitor (22-25k) and MSI modern MD271UL (25-26k). Make sure HDR 10 is present in monitor.

What is the price point you are looking at?
at 17k that is a very good monitor
27GR75Q-B.ATR,
Samsung Viewfinity S6

Don't go for that MSI panel, washed out colors.
At this price HDR doesn't work so doesn't matter, What matters is max brightness/lcd uniformity/color accuracy/stand movement/ I/O options/referesh rate if you are a gamer.

HDR doesn't matter, if it doesn't have some king of localized dimming.
OLED's are great cause of this.
Even MiniLED's too.
I have a 27gl850-b and it has HDR400 rating. While using HDR the picture just becomes more flat.
Recently had the chance to view a Gigabyte OLED monitor, and it is far far better than anything I have ever seen.

Thank you all for replying.

My budget is around 20k
I am getting this samsung monitor[link] around 15.3k after cc discount.
Would you all recommend buying this?

I have used the 144hz version of the monitor you mentioned in your original post. I think it was great. I have also used another 3 monitors since then, an Acer nitro with non adjustable stand, Acer predator and a Viewsonic. All under 20k. (The predator one is often priced above 20k though)

Among the 4, I liked the v3 most. I think the colours was the nicest. Plus its internal speakers and usb 3 hub were the features I missed the most. As a complete display noob, do take my experience as a grain of salt though.
