Can I use an AM3+ stock cooler on AM4

I'm getting a AMD 5500GT AM4 -65 watt processor and a Gigabyte B450 DS3H M/b.
I have the stock heat sink of my 125 watt AMD 8350 processor. It has a copper core, and heat pipes, and looks much more powerful that the wraith stealth that comes with the 5500GT.
I was thinking of using that instead. Any thoughts?

A few guys have done it, but they've only shown the installation videos, not the actual results.

This is the cooler I have :

Thanks! That's good to hear.
I've got 2 AM3+ coolers that should be able to dissipate , the stock AMD one and a Cooler Master Hyper Tx3 (not EVO). Both of them use clips.
I'll see what temps and noise levels are with the Wraith Stealth, and if they're high, I'll try swapping them with the AM3 coolers.

My CPU was hitting 95 degrees when under load with the stock cooler.
I decided to install the Cooler Master Hyper Tx3 and put in a total of 5 case fans. I installed the case fans first - I had 2 120mm ones already, and the computer was dead silent and reasonably cool. I installed 3 more, and they didn't affect temps much, but they did make a very irritating sound caused by 'beat frequency'. I reinstalled them using foam between the fans and moved the fans around. The irritating noise has reduced but I it's not gone. This only happens with the case closed. With the side panels off there's literally no noise, well no noise from 4 fans. I had to disconnect 1 fan. I can't control the fan speed, so I guess I'm going to have to either disconnect a couple of them, or get used to the noise. I've got 1 Corsair Red LED that came with the case and 4 Ant Carbon Black fans.

Anyway, installing the cooler was a little scary, because the AMD Wraith Stealth was stuck to the CPU. I had to heat the heatsink with a hair dryer before I could slide the cooler off. Luckily no damage occurred.

I've got the Cooler Master installed now (using Arctic MX-4), and idle CPU temps seem to be about 5 degrees lower. I stressed the CPU, and it maxed out at 82 degrees.
So CPU temps have definitely improved, but now my nvme drive is running about 10 degrees hotter.
Stock coolers and other bottom firing ones do more than just cool the CPU.

I've got the stock AM3+ on my old 8350, and it's working as well, or a bit better than the TX3 (non evo). Only it's so noisy that I can't stand it.
I'm going to (one day) 3d print, or buy a fan adapter so that I can put a quiet 120mm fan on it, in place of the horrible jet enginesque 70mm that it currently sports.
