I am in the market for a 27 inch 2560x1440 monitor that I will be using primary for work and gaming. Budget is 30k. I am primarily looking for good image quality for gaming, high refresh rate, less issues, and good service. Please suggest a good monitor, either from the below ones or a better one if you have any recommendations.

I have these selected, but not finalized.

My thoughts:
  • Based on Amazon review comments, I see many people complaining about display issues for the Acer. While I like Acer's pricing and features, I am thinking of skipping Acer for this reason. I also had a cheaper version of Acer monitor die after 2 years in the past.
  • The LG 27GP850 seems to be highly recommended, but it was released in 2021. I am guessing LG has better service than Lenovo. I have an nVidia GPU, so I guess LG having nVidia G-Sync is a plus.
  • Spec wise, Lenovo R27q-30 looks better than LG 27GP850 and is a newer model, not sure why LG is 10k more. I had a Lenovo laptop die within a few weeks of purchase, so a bit worried about Lenovo's quality.

There are 2 more lg varaints ,27gr75q and 27GN800.
Both are 20k and around 18k on this sale respectively.
Take a look at them too.

What problem did u face in your acer?
How did they respond , assuming you contacted them in warranty period

I had this Acer 21.5 inch SB220Q back then, which is probably their cheapest model. It just died completely after about 1-2 years of use. It just won't turn on. It was out of warranty (had only 1 year warranty I believe). This occurred when I was abroad, not in India. I was in a hurry to get a replacement since it was during Covid work from home times, so just bought a new monitor from a nearby store, didn't contact Acer service.

I bought the xv272u this sale.
Was thinking between lg one and this.
Ultimately ended up with acer as reviewers have rated the panel better than even lg850 variant.
My last acer service exp was bad, still went ahead .
Probably due to the sake price of 13.8k

Not much point but posting it here for reach -

Most Acer monitors come with 3 years of warranty.
