If you're okay with wired, have a look at IEMs from Headphone Zone.


Even the ones under 2k sound a lot better than most under 6k TWS you can find. And it is usually noticeable. There are also direct Type-C options if you want.

Advantage being they don't die after a few years, and usually have replaceable cables lol

Got my soundcore q20i. They are a beast at3.8k.
If you are open to use headphones. If your travelling time is less. Just go for headphones.

Plus even for in ears, i would defintely suggest to wired ones if you can manage. They are cheap and onpar the quality of tws.

In that order of preference, I placed the Headphone Zone x FiiO at top simply because it doesn't have as much separation/harshness as the 7Hz Salnotes Zero, and are also more bassy. Separation is nice, but it is usually harsh for higher frequencies, meaning your ears might hurt if you listen to them for long. I have a similar tuning to the FiiO in Truthear Hola of mine, and I love it. It's fun and easy to listen to for hours.

That said, you can't go wrong with any of these 3 products. They all sound really great!
I personally think the Moondrop ones are on the same level as Samsung Buds 2 Pro, minus the ANC.

Also, you can replace the cables! Since that is what most likely would break in long-term usage

I'm more worried about my charging port lol, I think I have broken the headphone jack of 3 separate phones just listening to music, but then I used to place my phone in my pants pocket and go running/gym-ing with them.

Would love to go wired again, specially IEMs, but this is my main issue.

Oof. Well, honestly, same. But I think that's more of a phone's 3.5mm jacks being jackshit than anything else. My laptop's port still works after abusing it for years, while I try to be more delicate with the phone's lol

Also, Type-C ports are much more resilient to this kind of damage than 3.5mm jacks. Personally, I wouldn't worry about them, but yeah, I can see why someone would be worried about it haha
As an example, I've connected my phone to charging in very weird angles, thrown them into bag while charging (wouldn't recommend, power banks get hot lol), went running while charging and so on, and all of them with mostly hard angle shifts, so it's definitely not easy being the charging socket there lol
