Forum/Platform for mental health related issues

Considering the modern day lifystyle, I am sure many of us have gone through various mental health related issues like depression (for sometime), stress, relationship issues, etc
Was wondering if there are any platform or forums where you can discuss these issues and get the required support !
Let me know if you are aware!

Heres what i think...

If you are asking for private forums then it has no hopes since there are trolls and no privacy...if you are asking for online 1 on 1 consultation then many private practitioners do provide online counselling through video chat...if you are looking online for like-minded folks facing similar issues then you might need to find them and create one...only selected few ..

P.s. techenclave has great number of people facing and handling mental stress but dont know how we can create a thread supporting each other ...and with too many posts/replies in a thread it becomes difficult to keep track what someone is saying...

  1. Stop Buying anything from online/Mall/Big Showrooms/Big Shops etc. etc.
  2. Start buy everything from offline shops, in formal/simple/very basic looks attire, prefer small but neat & clean shops/hawkers/Vegetable Market/Tea Stall/Coconut Water Sellers, no matter how long you need to walk (avoid driving). Prefer Senior Citizen type sellers.
  3. Talk with them some other things (do not discuss anything on Politics/Religion, if found any one interested just leave the place and search for new, there are lots of good hawkers/stall/persons).
  4. If found no reason to stop at that place, buy Rs.5/- biscuit packet or chips etc. start eating on the spot and same time keep chatting with seller, soon you will find lots of friends (don't give your address/phone number etc. to any one)
PS: Above is Basic Tips for basic at start of issue, if anything serious/escalated take Professional Help.

Probably best to keep issues like this private. Public forums are dangerous places to discuss such things. A combination of the knowledge of your issues and potential doxxing can lead to severe stress in your life and health.

If you face crippling issues with mental health there is no substitute for a professional. The act of doing something about it is the first step in the healing journey, and often the most difficult. Best to step away from technology and visit a professional in person. I've seen a few of my friends fall into an abyss because of mid-life crises and job losses, and the only solution was to see a doctor. Both are flourishing now. Another friend who kept it bottled up wasn't so lucky and decided to end it, at the age of 19.

See a doctor. Even if you don't feel it's needed.

Please seek professional help as mentioned above.
This is not the place to seek support or help on Mental Health issues.
Also most big organizations provide counsellors from services like Optum so check with your employer if they provide that option.

Looking for "platforms/forums" sounds like a bad idea. I would count the Internet as no 1 cause of mental health issue these days.

If it is acute, look for a doc. If is it just angst or any other chronic low intensity philosophical/psychological problems, you need friends you can spar with.

First of all, touched by the concern shown by you all !
Have received couple of DMs as well for details as to how to handle it !!
So many many thanks for all of the concern !!

Coming back, with God's grace, I am fine but I was talking from that perepctive where the lifesytle pressure is so much that everyone of us are facing these mental challenges once in a while and over the years, there has been growing awareness about this, getting professional help is not that difficult. However, what I was looking is some platform, where people (as anonymous ) can share their experience or problem, not to get a professional level remedy but just to share it ! And many of the times, people just need an ear to listen and nothing else !
