Need recommendations for Bluetooth headphones

Hi everyone,

could someone help me select a pair of headphones. My last phone with 3.5 mm jack (LG v30) has given up so I have finally decided to switch to wireless.

Preference:
- High marks for durability
- On the ear (or one that doesn't heat up the ears)
- Good mic pickup (will be use for long calls). Boom mic will be nice.
Don't care:
- Noise cancellation
- Foldability (it will stay at home)

Under 10k would be nice.

I see some Sony and JBLs (WH-CH520, Tune 520B). Any feedback on these?

Thanks

Both of them are good . You can also check Samsung's.
But if I was purchasing then I would have gone with Sony.

If confused do one thing visit their store or visit croma.

You are making a mistake in my opinion by spending so much as 10k and not going for ANC headset.
In times or travel outside and if need to listen to a song or a movie .
You will badly miss ANC.
People have no thought on noise pollution these days.
Honking is so normal now that even sitting at home you can hear honking from the roads if you live by a main road specially.

Just my opinion.

I use sony xb 910n .
Zabardast headphone. It's about 7-8/10 on every area- sound quality, ANC , comfort etc.

My way is to use Earmuffs with in ears

Not so good tbh.
Its okay at most.

There are better options if talking on phone is imp.

No idea if there is any mic noise cancelation but a boom mic handles that already
by better options I meant from Sony like WH-1000XM4 and XM5.

I dont have idea of other over the ear phones. Only reason I can speak a thing about Sony is I have used XB I have done research on other sony headphones thoroughly.

Some one else can give better answer in options other than Sony.

He doesn't want over-the-ear. He wants on-ear so by default noise cancelling is out. That should help keep prices down

For on ear, the best model on the list with good call quality is the Sony xb700

Trouble is it came out in 2019 and there is no stock available

Thank you. I have never really considered ANC. Prob because of audio enthusiast friends who have convinced me to stay away from digital processing :). Maybe I should try one sometime. The headphone I have for music are all open back.

Did consider this one. Looks like a flimsy one with a fancy branding. For this purchase, I was looking for something durable. A Jabra would have been nice, but they are very expensive in India.

This purchase was for a very specific reason. Most days I wake up at around 4-4:30 AM and make/drink my coffee in dark. This is the time I also catch up on news/podcasts. I didn't want to carry the handset into the kitchen. If I could use the headset for calls, I would have paid more. I also didn't want to wear an over-the-ear just after waking up :)

For now, I have dropped the idea. Using an iem. Don't carry the phone into the kitchen.

bhai they are right but to spent 10k and not have ANC is big loss too. Because ANC these days is also becoming very important.

You dont even have to step outside house these days to be away from noise. People are crazy with car horns, loud music ( religious ceremonies or shaadi or birthday in neighbourhood)
Teens are carrying huge speakers with them. I have seen people carrying huge speakers to even treks.

I am thankful for ANC to allow me to quietly enjoy my music without disturbing people or being disturbed by idiots.
For that if i have to compromise with sound quality a bit. I will personally accept it.
