A noob's guide on buying consoles!

I wanted to play Resident Evil village for quite some time. about 2 weeks ago I finally bought it on good sale price but I have not even yet got to start it.

So dont think so much ahead . If you right now have time just live in the moment and enjoy the games.

Great bro, that's exactly what is happening these days. After buying all playstation products (now PS5) I also bought a gaming laptop. Now there's no time to play on either of them.
 
Is this a good deal? PS5 with 40 games and 2TB SSD for 61k.

What type of games you like?
you have to check out the exclusives first and see which one is most interesting for you.


Having said that have you no like for Nintendo.

Games like FarCry, Hitmen like that. Also I heard about Monthly Passes. So they should not be costly also. Kind of an average player requirement.
Which console gets the more exclusive ones? I am kind of new in this world.
I am not considering switch.

Xbox has lost this generation as well, the PS5 sort of outsells the xsx by 5:1 globally and it also has a larger install base in India compared to the Xbox so it'll be easier to trade in used games for the PS5,
This has been the weakest console generation overall since most games are multiplatform and even the individual platform exclusives are in the single digits for both platforms, the winner this generation has been the PC imo since it ends up getting all the games at lower prices during steam sales.

Overall sales and exclusives wise, the Switch is the undisputed winner this gen standing at over 140 million units sold and counting !

Yea PC > PS5 > Xbox, one problem with the Switch is the exorbitant prices of games and lack of sales on the eshop.
The one small advantage the Xbox has is Gamepass (which again works on PC) but that has mostly been a hit or miss in my case.

Switch you can modify it and then become a sailor and enjoy the seven seas.( If you don't know what I mean dm . I will explain).
Just sharing an idea.

Switch is the best ..what lovely games.
Xbox and ps games are all making it to pc .
Switch is different experience.

Apart from use of bespoke controls in some games, Switch emulation on PC has far surpassed what the Switch itself is capable of, and hence the clamp down by Nintendo. Newer Switch mods will still cost a pretty penny to install and flash carts are not that convenient.

I run most of the non-strenuous games on Android tablet with a telescopic controller and that itself is a better experience.
