Another effect could be this forum itself. Note the message at the top of its webpages. It is being shut down for two hours at a stretch every night for the past few days. This is far worse than the forums hosted by other western countries, which perform this kind of maintenance a few times a year.
 
It's amazing how many things we "knew before only" yet kept quiet until someone else put it into wide spread use

Yes, this is true. It would also explain why so many of our boomer politicians have shit for brains. They are just examples of the lost art of ancient Indian brain surgery.

Claiming to understand the 'why' of a complex societal problem is usually a sign of inexperience. You will rarely see a real scientist make such claims.

American science thrives in spite of the creationist museums and bans on stem cell research. It is doing much better than chinese science where such 'nonsense' is not tolerated.

Amitabh Sinha is a journalist. Tomorrow he will be writing about some panchayat election and 'the real reason' why some party lost. You should ignore him then and you should ignore him now.
