Upgraded
Selling MBP 15" late 2011 model purchased on 12/12/2011.
Specs link - https://support.apple.com/en-in/112586
Replaced the HDD with SSD (Crucial 240GB).
Upgraded RAM from 4GB to 12GB.

Expected price - 6K. Shipping cost extra. Shipping through DTDC.
1 day testing warranty.

Condition.
No dents, corners are all clean. Small scratches and discoloration of aluminum body here and there.
Display has some yellow patches. I guess it is either the glass or the display.
One of the screws missing in the back panel. Of course, nothing to do with functioning of MBP.
Fans run faster and MBP heats up when resource hungry apps are opened. Happens sometimes when charger is plugged in while working on MBP as well. Switching to 'Integrated only' option for graphics makes things ok in most cases. Used the app gfxCardStatus in the past for this.
Keyboard, ports , charging etc. all good. It hold the charge for few hrs when I tested it recently. Superdrive should be working but not 100% sure as I didn't try CD/DVD for long.

Repair history.
1. Had some graphics related issue in 2012. Can't remember what exactly it was, repaired at Apple authorised centre, they replaced the board (graphics/mainborad?) free of coast as it was under Applecare.
No issues after that.
2. The yellow patches I mentioned above. Happened first in 2017. Repaired at Apple authorised centre. Can't remember whether they replaced display or just the glass at that time.
Happening again now.

Comes with aftermarket charger (not Apple original) which works fine.

I get few hrs backup on the battery. Tested yesterday and it worked fine for 2hrs. It varies, but not a lot.
13yrs now, no battery changes in the past, so I am not very sure how battery will perform in future.

Sent replies to all PMs.
Meantime, found the missing screw! So all in place now.
Forgot to mention - Airplay and external display options work fine.

OK, will add some info as a lot of members contacted me and I sent them videos of the machine. May sound funny but I asked them the use case and discouraged most of them!

Basically it is a 13yr old MBP. So the problem with the display may increase with time, like it may spread more. So external monitor or Airplay is the recommended option. Android tablets may work with third party Airplay apps, but I never tried it.

The GPU - as I mentioned in the first post, the AMD (discrete) GPU has issues as far as I know. Switching to Intel (integrated) GPU is the solution, which I followed in the past (worked fine). But when external display is connected (not Airplay) it switch to discrete GPU (which is not recommended!). Tried external display just for checking before (always used it's own display) but came to know about discrete GPU is being used for it recently only. In short, only Airplay seems an option.

If you are looking for a cheap laptop for normal/daily use, no, it is not recommended.

So why sell If most of it is not in a great condition?

This may be an option for people who are new to Mac OS X, like experimenting it for sometime. Price is not too bad for it I hope. Can negotiate a bit. It has SSD, 12GB RAM, aftermarket charger (not Apple original) if parts are considered.

And no, not desperate, just adding this info. Will keep if it is not sold.
