Not sure if this is the right place to ask.
I am buying an insurance of around 40k Rs.
Seems like 2% Cashback from amazon pay gift card is the right way to go using Amazon Pay card. But I have bought around 17k worth Gift card on 25th Sept. Can I still buy another 40k gift card or do I have to wait?

In make all my tax and insurance payments through Amazon Pay vouchers purchased using SBI cashback card from elsewhere to get 5℅ cashback. Otherwise all insurance and utility MCC are exempt from cashback, as are gift card purchases.

I recently tried purchasing Amazon Pay gift cards using the APay card, it didn't let me use any credit card. The only options I had was UPI / UPI apps.

Just went with it. Bought all of them and delivered without issues. Maybe the limit they set is not a hard limit.
You basically got the "first time heavy use exemption offer". Now if you try to buy more than 4-5k GV in next 2-3 months then most likely amazon will restrict your cards/accs from buying anymore amazonpay GVs using credit card as payment option.

You bought too much GVs in a short time so amazon has now restricted your acc/cards to only use upi for GV purchase.

It is seems to be indefinitely disabled for accounts that purchased multiple gift cards in the past as well as new accounts. Hasn't reset for my account for over 4 months since the last purchase. Fortunately, can purchase them elsewhere for 5% cashback using SBI card.
