How to improve my voice/personality.

I have 2 Goals, To learn UK English accent and improve my normal voice don't know how to say this but the way I speak to people in call/in person and even my videos it is like I'm reading a book I don't like, There is no charm no personality and nothing at all.
I asked in Duolingo Subscription but got no response so- What apps or method should I use to make my voice sound warm/charismatic and also learn a little English accent.
I make Gameplay videos and soon I will be doing live streams, I won't be showing my face but would prefer if I didn't pronounce so many words wrong.
Just last night I was reading a chat on my stream and kind of messed up the pronunciation of " satisfaction ". It happens a lot btw way too many errors in speech.
I haven't tried anything yet other than speaking in front of a mirror and recording voices again and again.
Please give your advice how you guys manage it. And how can I learn the English accent.

Can't exactly change my lifestyle for now. I wake up at 6 Am , bit of jogging- everything in between -and breakfast by the time it's 8 Am I sit on my pc to learn some HTML+CSS ( working on a website for myself) And then at 10:15 Am I leave for office. I come back home around 7PM, Shower and dinner Almost at 8PM I get back to my PC and spend the next few hour gaming.
Don't see any way to change my routine for now. It's a boring life , but that's all I got for now.

You need to learn to shout louder

Japanese way.

You can start with a list of goals or aspirations that you practice shouting at the mirror.

Then as a next step you do it on train platform before train comes.

I will work 70h a week.
I will succeed to sell more

etc

Does not have to be in English. Your native is good also.

It's hard when I only got few hours after 8pm, so I just spend time at home ( that's why I game ), only 2-3 boys in my neighborhood in from 20-25, and I guess 2 of them don't like my face . And one got beef with me. I'm gonna be joining gym but it is really hard for me to be there and to talk with anyone other than trainer. I'm not shy, it just seems like a waste to find new friends. But I have talked to people a lot btw, I did debates at uni and talked a lot, but the messed up pronunciations and lack of charm always been there.

Watched the video, look like it will work for the pronunciation part, and that knochiwa wasn't expected , seems like it's this extreme only in the business part.
Speaking loud at home gonna get me some taunt from my mother .but I will try.
or else go through late angry rantman videos :p
What is that ?

See the part I quoted from you.

You don't seem confident at just speaking for some reason.

Well yelling is pushing you to the extreme isn't it. Nobody thinks a person yelling is lacking in confidence.

Right?

These guys aren't ranting though. More like extreme self confession/affirmation

T
you lack confidence and fun in life .If you get that back your speech / conversation to will also reflect the same.

Yeah, I usually don't speak louder, will try to that from now on. Even in the office there is not that many conversations happen if I'm guessing right i said only like 15-20 lines in whole day . I'm an account sitting on the side just looking at my screen so not much to talk to anybody.

Louder is only privately. Not with others. With them you speak normally. And over time it will become so.

That is fine

In instead of giving any pointer on the topic to OP, all giving him fokat ka gyan.

@NikhilSingh25 Try looking at some literature-related forums.
I believe, i've come across some yt channels that teach accents. But it's been a few years, can't recall the details at the moment.
I'll see if I can find them and DM you later if I remember

British Council has some nice apps on Google play store.
1. Learn English Podcasts - just listen to how the speakers pronounce english words. very soon your mind will try and copy them while speaking.
2. learn english sounds right - an interactive phonemic chart. You will learn how to pronounce words in a dictionary. example in picture below the text /fa'ni'mik/ is the way to pronounce the word.

Just don't worry about it. Everyone makes mistakes. No need to be so harsh on yourself. It will only lead to serious self esteem problems later on. In fact such videos with mistakes will only help you get stronger in pronunciation. Just say in start of video that you are still learning english and will get pronunciation wrong and people won't bother that much.

You just cannot learn to speak better, clearer or "accented" english without actually speaking english consistently on a regular basis. My college friend who studied in KV Mysore, my gosh you would have thought he had never spoken a lick of English in his life in the first semester lol. Gradually through just straight exposure and having to forcibly conduct presentations and vivas, he has drastically improved. Not as clear as I am but he's more confident now. No public speaking or english communication video can truly help you until and unless you actually practice it in front of real people. I suppose since you'll be in front of a camera and not in public it wouldn't be as nerve wracking but you just need to start doing it rather than beat around the bush.

I would recommend you to join some toastmasters club if it's there in your city, from what I've heard from a few seniors, it has helped alot of people get over their fear of public speaking and is a good safe space to practice your speaking skills without the fear of judgement.
Also honestly, the Indian English accent (ik very broad) is really well liked by corps across the world, it's honestly more clear than most other countries but again I feel it's a bit biased as most of these speakers know English better than their own mother tongue.

This video is a good representation of clear bangalore english

This is more ideal than learning some "UK" accent which you just cannot pick up unless you stay in the UK (which again is really really diverse in terms of accents)

Short answer is practice. Your original idea of doing streaming is not all that bad as long as you remember your main goal and don't get sidetracked into gaming too much. Obviously real life practice on top of that will be even better. There are apps where you get a buddy to video call with to practice each other's language (google it).

it's surprising if a thread doesn't go OT these days ,
I might need to change my routine a little, maybe 20-30 mins everyday for speech practice.

I watch English movies and series with this intent, until last year I had to keep the subtitles on coz there were many times the character said something and I could not understand it, but now I don't need subtitles or even need to look at the character's mouth, brain instantly catches what they are saying without focusing too much.

The problem is there is no one in my daily life with whom I can communicate in any English. Otherwise I wouldn't be in this situation.
But I get what You mean, My sister is in the UK and her accent has improved in the last year, Sometimes she would use that accent while talking to me on VC and I do the same, ofcourse mine is pretty messed up and I can only speak few words right in that accent.

Yeah that happens a lot, While on live I sometimes forget to say anything to the viewers and go completely silent, my goal is to keep speaking continuously for now on streams, nobody likes a streamer who isn't speaking on their streams half the time.

Thanks to everyone who gave suggestion to help me, Here is what I'm gonna do now -
1- I'm gonna communicate more in English whenever it's an option.
2- I will probably get back to reading , and instead of silently reading it , I will act like I'm teaching a class so I can be loud and put some feelings into it.
3- On my streams I have been talking in Hindi, maybe once a week I will try to talk only in English and maybe invite someone so I have someone to talk to.
4- Don't know if I can find some activity where I get talk to people in English, but will see what I can find.
5- As for outdoor fun, as much as I would like to just travel to someplace, I can't coz of Job and financial issues. My cousin lived here with me but he went home last month, only got like 1 friend in the city now. So I will go like playing 8 ball or something with him.

Thanks again everyone for your valuable suggestion. I will try my best to act on those suggestions and get results to satisfy myself.

Seeing your sale threads you stay in Ludhiana right?
According to the site they have meetings every saturday. Atleast try and go for that if you genuinely wish to improve. They also have online classes too from what i've seeon on their instagram page. Quite active and would be of real benefit for you.
