Suggest some good Wii Games

So I recently bought a used Wii off FB Marketplace and am in the process of soft-modding it. Once done, I will be able to download games to external HDD and play games off the same. I DO NOT have the motion plus controller and it is the regular controller only. I have 2 nunchuks and a steering wheel too.
People playing games will be myself, and my kids (10 and 6). Wii sports is something definitely I am getting as we like to play tennis and such movement based games. My kids play tennis on apple tv using siri remote.
We also like racing games, Mario kart is one we will be downloading.
I would want to avoid any games which are suggestive or have gore / violence. Just trying to have fun playing games where we can make movement as well.

Mario party 8 would be a nice family game to play.
They might also like donkey kong returns.

I will check it out. My wii has got very little (none actually) use in last 2 months. My kids are only interested in playing Wii sports games and in that only tennis and bowling. I have like 100+ games now on a connected HDD.
But the controller I have is NOT motion plus so certain games won't work and I guess Mario party 8 may need motion plus attachment or motionplus wiimote.

Wii Sports Resort is quite a lot better than Wii Sports. End up playing that a lot on my Wii U as it is better than Wii U sports even. Would recommend getting a MotionPlus Wiimote if you can.

Specifically for full-fledged sports games, Grand Slam Tennis and Tiger Woods PGA Tour are quite good but again require MotionPlus for accuracy.

Kirby's Epic Yarn is also good but haven't played it that much as I have been playing Yoshi's Wolly World on the Wii U instead which seems quite similar.

What will be the cheapest way to get 2 of those? Go for 3rd party remote on amazon or go for 3rd party wiimote extension (but then I will need to buy cover too that can accomodate that.
Please suggest where and which wiimote / extension to get.

It is a bit difficult to say how good the replacements sold locally are. At the end of the day the sensors should be good and properly calibrated, so not sure if the third party ones are great. I had seen some of them being returnable though on Amazon if I remember right, so you can give it a try.

eBay seems to also have third party motionplus adapters for $10-15 but not sure how good they are. I suppose buying the original Motionplus ones in good condition is the best option but with shipping, it will probably attract custom duties wherever you get it from.
