What do you think about the Mike Tyson vs Jake Paul fight?

The winner looks really out of breath at the end. Tyson doesn't even breathe that hard at end and he's in his 50's. Paul is panting like a dog that ran a few miles. Fight leaves me confused & it looks like a wwe type fake match just made for entertainment purpose. Just read the comments in the YT section. What a scam match.
 
It was a cash grab and a disgrace of a fight. But if you expected a good fight from the always-grifting Paul brothers, you're the one who's would be disappointed.

Mike Tyson and Jake Paul got their bag and netflix and people got taken for another grifting ride. Boxing is a sport for the young and this fight showed the reality.
 
It was much worse than I expected. Tyson didn't even try to hit Paul. It was all of those who watched taken for a ride. It was like a WWE wrestling match. Completely staged. At least WWE is entertaining with their expertise in staged fights. These people don't even have that skill.

People on reddit are saying that Tyson is old but he can try to hit which he didn't do. I don't think there was a single genuine punch taken by either of them.

I lost whatever little respect I had for tyson. Was he really in need of money that he did this crap?

I won't be surprised if jake's next battle would be with ali from his grave.
 
Tyson got paid 20 million USD in one fight at the age of 58, all courtesy of Jake Paul. Many MMA fighters got paid fighting Jake Paul more than their entire career earnings in the UFC. Jake Paul is doing everyone a favor by paying his opponent lifetime retirement money and in return taking all their lost fame. Its a WIN-WIN for all, BTW who cares about their toxic fans.

Aren't they quite well insured?

Maybe the coverage might not be full but major part should get covered.

Otherwise it is going to very difficult to pay these expenses.

Don't mean to derail but I believe even Michael Schumacher is well insured..that is why they able to keep him alive. ? His medical bills are crazy.

I think, as long as they bring good business with their skills, they will be well insured and taken care of in one way or the other.

By selling things? No one is insured that much and anyway no one provides health insurance for life. The premiums would be ridiculous after the accident.

The older people get, the higher the medical insurance is. Plus people playing such dangerous sports always have higher insurance costs. There must be a reason why he chose to get into the ring at such an old age. Maybe he ran out of retirement money.
