The best thing to come out of AI for apple users is that it has bumped the min memory across all of its devices :D

As long as Apple Intelligence does not hinder the existing workflow or productivity, it is good.


I like the specific object selection and copy thingy in the Photos app though ;)

It is not even an Apple Intelligence feature and was added in iOS 16. AI by whatever name in any mobile device is presently a marketing feature. Every company is trying to find a way to move more rectangular slabs that look the same with every software update.

It will get better with time. Better models and integration across the OS as well as the apps. Initial models of GPT did not impress me for coding. But the latest models have pushed the productivity off the charts. I expect the same to happen for phones integrating LLM models and meanwhile enjoy the higher RAM.
 
I am just happy that Siri is able to understand most of the things that I say and ask. Earlier it won't even switch on the lights or play songs half the time. Smart assistant is one reason I feel like switching over to Alexa from Apple.
