News Apple to halt US sales of Series 9, Ultra 2 smartwatches over patent dispute

Why not just pay Masimo out of court settlement and continue selling Apple watches.

The reason I am saying is if they stop selling it ....there is a huge demand for these Apple Watch and it will hit not only their business but also People will move to other companies like Garmin, Samsung.

And most actually dont change mobile or OS or smartwatch brands that easily.

I mean I paid heavily for a Garmin watch. Could have easily got Apple Ultra too but for me Garmin's battery life and becoming use to its statistics and all kind of makes me think twice when moving even if competitor has better hardware. The overall experience matters too.
 
Had to happen, tim apple's methods have been questioned but his results silenced the critiques. Lets see how they get out of this knowing it was their USP/ one of the USPs.

Settling out of court signals weakness in a battle where the winner sets a precedence. People wont move to garmin, they will first move to a different apple watch next they realize they dont actually need a smartwatch and then maybe just maybe they will buy a garmin.
