The "Everyday" show-off thread !

for the longest time I have been a dual monitor user, used to have dual 22-inch back in the day, then upgraded to dual 24s and then to dual 27s

I was itching for an upgrade, after contemplating what to buy for the last 6 months, I finally shortlisted to go with modern OLED panels for those amazing image quality.

But 55Inch screen size was just to big for normal office and browsing needs, so finally decided to get the 48 inch, as it would be at least as wide as dual 27 inch (4-5 inch less) but make up for it in height.
Lovely. Damages ? Bought from ? And is that only 1 star BEE rating ?

I still dont get why people choose deco over APs by TP Link?
any reason
its omada series is top notch
The reason i choose deco are,
1. Budget.
2. Ease of use, i dont need to micro manage it.
3. For residency, it's more than capable.

Its a free amenities, 200mbps connection in the lobby area of each floor but it should be reachable inside the house. My plan is setup the guest network with 200mbps limit. The omada is different network for personal use.

well official pricing on LG was 1.12lacs
Reliance Digital & Amazon were showing 99k
but Reliance Digital had 12.5% instance off on HDFC which brought the price down to Rs. 87k
yeah only 1 star rated, I don't understand it... may be a mistake or incorrectly rated.
It is supposed to be 1 star because of the power draw. It is higher than LCD TVs.

LCD use backlit led`s to light a particular zone and the power consumption would be per zone with multiple pixels .In 4k oled every pixel will draw power which would be much more then a LCD BACKLIT tech. On oled out of 4k only one pixel is non black than it will only consume power of one pixel + the supporting pcb sound etc sytems .In LCD system .IT will power on all the zone backlit to generate one pixel which is non black .hence LCD blacks are not trueblack .they are greyish .Hence following Video could be used to judge how good your LCD /QLED/QNED etc

Went to a book fair today and found this. Wish we had more detailed ISRO models. NASA ones are often so cool.

Nice. Tempted to get one. Is it same?

Yeah, looks the same. Mine was prebuilt. There were also boxes with DIY parts that you can assemble yourself. It looks cheap if you hold it closely but it is actually cheap enough that I didn't mind. I would love a metal one or some other material like those Lego starships.

I am also thinking to setup cctv in my 3bhk but albiet in all balconies and front gate.
For easy, plug and play setup, i suggest tapo ecosystem. Had no issues till now. They have a variety of camera for different needs. For balconies with no wires or less movements, there are battery cameras.
