I was looking for x90L but I think I will get TCL C755. its about 40k cheaper than sony. Can't buy LG or Samsung because of their OS.

Any good deals this black Friday weekend on 65 inch tvs? Want to get one myself. Mostly for watching movies and cricket.

if you are not in a hurry , than january & february are deal months .They will have to sell the old models and close the financial year .
you can expected company provided extended warranties + discount and than at the shop level you can nag and still get additional deal.
I got an LG oled in above manner.
this applies to most of the electronics like refrigerators /ac and even cars pickup a vin number of previous year and than customer is the king.
latest GDp reports for India were at 5.2 .So there was not alot of sale .So expect good discouunts

Sony X74L or Bravia 2 is enough for most people. IMO Bravia 3 or Samsung Q60D or LG QNED80 doesn't justify the price premium over Bravia 2.
Only panels which is a worthwhile upgrade over normal LCD panels is FALD LCD or OLEDs. Companies just crank up brightness from say 350nits to 450nits (maybe even a better DCI P3 coverage) & try to charge a premium, IMO waste of money for most as it is still not a true HDR panel.
