Need recommendation for buying a reliable used car under 2L

Very very hard to recommend something due to the limited budget. 2nd hand car prices are super high right now.
Honda Brio / MS Ritz is a good option if you can find one in your budget.
 
Yes Prices have skyrocketed. I was also looking at those two options. Can I get a 2006 Bolero DI Turbo version at this price?

In the year 2018, my Dad's friend sold his well maintained MS Ritz for 1.8L and the same car today is quoting for 2.2L. This is just crazy.
 
Can find too much on the net for meghalaya. Best bet would be local classifieds or used car showrooms.

Grand i10 can also be a decent option.
 
If you don't care about looks and looking for driving centric cars. Look for ford Figo with low odo kms. Spares are pretty cheap & reliable. Ford diesel engines are rock solid and enjoyable.

I was about to look for these but was leaning more towards Ritz and Brio. However, would anyone recommend a Bolero DI Turbo?

I have the Ritz diesel. Maintainance is easy and the parts I believe should be available forever since most of MS cars like the swift dzires which are used as taxis share the same engine. Only issue I find is the stiff suspension which shouldn't be a problem if you have good roads. The steering is also on the heavier side since it's hydraulic as opposed to electric, but the feel is really nice.
