Getting second hand xbox series x

40k is too much. The console alone is usually available on Gameloot (with a 1 month warranty) for 34k.
I'd say is a fair price is 33k - 34k for just the console plus extra controller. Ditch the headphones.

there's no way you should spend that much on a used xbox. You might be able to find a disc ps5 for a bit more money and even less if you wait for a sale.

I am thinking of long term usage

Games of ps5 are very costly
And the xbox game pass is way cheaper and I am a casual gamer so i think it will be best for me

Buy the disc based PS5, and buy used game discs. There are plenty of website which sells used games. Once you are done with the game, just sell the game off. You will incur very low price in that manner. Another option is to rent games. Most games are available for rent too for a month or so.

Getting a gaming PC is also a good option, but I think for a casual gamer, console is better option due to the ease of use case. Also with a PC , you will always itch to get the latest graphics card, which will cost significantly more than the console. With a console you know that you are all set for a couple of years, untill a new console is launched.

If budget is not the constraint then get both a gaming PC + PS5 for exclusives.

I have brought an xbox SS and a SX and sold both of them.. The launch week PS5 continues to get used heavily..
What's the point of having a relatively cheap subscription when the games themself are useless?
MS has really messed up their game library .. every time they promise the moon, they deliver a disaster..
Starfield was the last straw .. I waited for it for long and it turned out so incredibly boring.

The Sony subscription may not be as cheap (but can be split two ways if you have another friend who wants it) and it may not promise launch day titles - but a lot of what they have is good and fun to play...
I know I may be sounding like a fanboy but its actually the opposite..
I got 2 xboxes and a 3 year sub enticed by the exact same thing as you are..
Incurred losses on selling both and got straddled with a useless subscription for three years :blackeye:
Unless you are absolutely sure that the games on gamepass (or other titles on xbox) are games you actually like and enjoy, stay away even at 25K

I built mine within this budget around in Feb 2024. Here are the specs, mind you some items were sold for even cheaper in BBD Sale.

i3-12100f (7k)
Asus Prime H610M E-D4 (6k)
HyperX 2*8gb 3200mhz RAM (3k)
WD SN570 500gb Gen3 SSD (3k)
Asus Rx6600 8gb GPU (used for 10k)
DeepCool Matrexx40 3fs (3.5k)
CM MWE 550w PSU (3K)

You can even try to get i5-12400f for cheap as it will still be in budget and maybe try to get a better GPU (used) too.

valid point but then i would suggest you to get a used JB ps4 like i have or a decent gaming pc by adding some more money.
