What I think is , he talked to a manufacturer in china, Got a watch + app from him, got them to made changes to app like brand and all. And simply imported the watch.Well I wanted to talk about it but was digging more. I was more interested in their claim of developing the app with in house developer and UX/UI designer. I watched Rohit's video and started digging into the app. Didn't know his original video was deleted. Was he false copystriked. It was a well made video with good research.
Anyway back to what I found. Downloaded the app and decoded to find more about it.
The app layers as mentioned in the video seems to be designed with a lot of Chinese SDK and services. No clear backdoor in code so far but its doesnt seem to be designed by Tech Burner team as claimed.
Just searching for tencent alone with grep gives me 83k hits in the code. Uses tencent sevices and apps like qcloud, imsdk and bugly

Even for basic event bus they use this liveeventbus from a Chinese developer where even the documentation is in Chinese. I am not a android app developer. Is it common to use apps from github where documentation is not easily available in English and its industry standard ?

Their claim to design, develop and produce this watch just appears to be false. It was made by a Chinese company and app designed in China. It was just bought as a package and labelled for sale. They did cosmetic changes to the app and tada you have a new product.

Not even that, this was all done by someone else,, and they just got the Youtuber to "collab" in exchange for profit sharing.
That is the modus operandi for all the cheap smartwatches and electronics sold here as Made in India.

Tech burner launched a watch, which is just a Chinese rebrand, called it his product that he did everything for it, app ui and all, selling emotions of make in India and epic Indian products. Comparing it to apple watch. But everything was a lie.
tech burner at this point has just made fun of himself and losing any credibility that was left that video of rohit is already reuploaded by many people and people know the truth now.
