I'm trying to get a temperature data logger with a USB interface for a benchmarking project.

I had a whole bunch of other stuff I wanted but it turned out cheaper/faster to bundle them in @anmolbhard004's US shipment:

These are hard-to-find stuff, even on banggood/ebay.

They cancelled the order, so that's two cancelations so far:

Both were out of stock, but the first (cheaper) one is (presumably) in stock now so I'm going to try that for my third attempt before I give up and chase down laboratorydeal.com if they have it in stock.

I haven't been able to find these when searching by model number, TA612C. The other variants TA612A and TA612B don't have the usb interface.

A seller on Amazon had one for 10k but it looks like someone bought that.

I'm buying cycle parts which are not available locally like hubs,shifters
 
My order was stewing in their Dubai Distribution Center for the last 5 days after arriving from UK. Finally there was a status change last evening and now it shows: "Departed Distribution Center - Dubai".

Delivery dates keep changing. First it was within the 9th of December but now it is extended and showing between December 14-16.

Sigh.
 
Absolutely no updates whatsoever after the 9th of December for my order. I had a chat with the CC over at Desertcart and they said multiple orders for them recently to India have been delayed by Indian Customs (mostly Mumbai Customs). This is the reply to be exact:

The good thing though is that they issued a 500/- bucks Store Credit to my account for the delay in delivery which I can use for some other purchase.

Were there any additional packing other than the MB Box. I have ordered in the past from eBay & Amazon but skeptical about packing wrto highly sensitive electronics. Bad experience. If you dont mind model name & No.?

Its good that they have responded positively, regarding the delay. Delay could be probably due to Christmas blues. Fingers crossed for your package to arrive in your hands earlier.

My order has still not arrived at their India hub. Delivery date was 9th of December, then got changed to 14th December - 16th December and now it's showing 21-23 December. On chatting further with their CC they keep telling me that the order is either on the way to India or is stuck with Delhi Customs. 2 different version... sigh. Hopefully I get it before Christmas now!

On the bright side because of this delay they gifted me Rs.1200/- store credit to my account which I can use on my next purchase:
