Lenovo IdeaPad Slim 3 Laptop - Can I expand internal storage and RAM?

Recently I purchased Lenovo IdeaPad Slim 3 (link below) from Walmart USA. Waiting for its arrival by the end of this month.
I would like to know if I can expand the internal storage (mainly HDD, but if not then at least SSD) of this device as 512 GB is not enough for me. Also can I increase the RAM, although this is not a major concern as I don't intend to use it for gaming and any other heavy processing apps?

  • Internal storage: 512GB Solid State Drive

so it seems like my only option is to extend storage (RAM no chance) is buy M.2 2242 SSD from US and replace the one that I got.. this doesn't make much sense as I got 512GB already in there.. will go with what I get. Thanks everybody for your help.

BTW, the exact model I got is this: https://psref.lenovo.com/Detail/IdeaPad_Slim_3_15ABR8?M=82XM00BAUS

If you are not storing videos and games, 500 GB should be ok.

What you can do is buy a 2 TB external SSD and carry it with you and store non-essential items in it (if you feel the need).
Unlike HDDs, SSDs are very light and even over USB, they are extremely fast. And this one has a full function USB-C port. So if you get an NVMe enclosure with proper USB-C connector, you can get around 1 GBps (yes, capital B) over USB-C.
