Buying from US - Best Deals - Discussion Thread

Boss...Unable to understand. Are you like a freight forwarder or something? Can you explain us more?
I'm guessing it's more like he manages the consolidation for TE members using a forwarder. It's cheaper to freight forward in a group rather than individually.
He keeps you updated with the status and charges, etc. pretty well too.

Nobody gives you access to the freight forwarder website to check actual charges . He can still charge decent amount of customs as per LAW but those who know it , know it what he charges
He should start charging for the DROP SHIPPING to final delivery address also

HaHa so as per feedback on this we can also ascertain that he could be a doing a Yeoman service also , whos not charging for the time and effort spent and doing a community service:cool::p

Its huge in size so will attract customs and if the seller doesn't pack it properly then I doubt it will arrive in one piece.
Just recently I ordered Megatron transformers figure from eBay and its one leg came broken. Glad I was able to stick the joints and made it work perfectly as if nothing happened + claimed for a refund and received 100% refund as well.

In that case, I'd have to pay hefty customs duty right?
As for the packaging, I have seen in most videos that these RC are packed in foam-like structures. Do you think there will be some damages?

Cannot comment as at times even a basic bubble wrap will come intact and even a tank-packed might be received with broken pieces! All luck and handling factor but bigger the stuff greater the risk!
Except for my one order, all other orders came intact- zero damages and with just a basic bubble wrap inside the usual brown boxes!

Thanks for the info mate. I do agree with you on this. My plan was buying two of these and 2 trucks and 1 Loader. Now I am having second thoughts on buying. Any other suggestions?
