Guide Hello, is this a good upgrade i am doing?

I am buying rtx 3060 12gb(zotac) for my old ryzen 3 2200g apu pc on a msi a320m mb 2400mhz ram. I am also buying a ryzen 5600 to replace 2200g.

Thing is i also have a laptop with r5 5600h with 1650 4gb laptop.

Is it worth it?

R5 5600 and RTX 3060 are fast enough to not bottleneck each other, but depending on the games even RTX 2060S will work great with 5600 and will be much cheaper.

yep. you'd certainly see a noticeable boost in performance. while you are at it try upgrading to a higher frequency ram modules.

Later, i have to upgrade motherboard too, it only support max 3000mhz ram

12gb vram is the reason im buying, otherwise i had an offer in local shop 1660 super at 9k rs

That doesn't matter. As long as the IMC of the CPU supports it, you're good to go. I had the same motherboard paired with a 5600. My GSkill Ripjaws V 3600 Mhz kit worked just fine with XMP enabled.

This. The only feature a chipset does not have is CPU overclocking.

Recieved this monitor (Acer Nitro Vg271U M3 27 Inch IPS Wqhd 2560X1440 Pixels Gaming Backlight Led LCD Monitor) today.. was a huge hassle to find big azz plug adapter for this 16A plug.. but anyways there's one dead pixel at bottom left corner. Should i replace or ignore? i know this can happen and on top of that im very unlucky this year idk why..

bro i have msi a320m pro vd/s v2. the max ram frequency 3000mhz at msi page. Also this motherboard is very bad for ram overclocking, got no success to increase ram mhz to 2666 mhz, corsair vengeance 2400mhz 8GBx2, also i must say im not pro .. default was 2133 something mhz, xmp profile needed to set for 2400mhz, although ram box clearly said 2400mhz ram

Also another thing i forgot to mention. I recieved rtx 3060 12gb zotac today. but i rejected it on delivery. There was no packaging, the zotac box is not even protected with thin plastic sheet, the box was scratched, looked old and bad condition. there is three seals, at one side. only 1 seal was attached other two seemed it had been cut open. Rejected it and ordered the same again and complain on amazon customer care on call and also asked them to instruct seller to send it in a well packaged and pixel perfect brand new condition. amazon guy agreed, lets see what comes next
