Graphic Cards Old Graphics Card will work with a (relatively) new mobo ?

Will a old graphics card like a Sapphire ATI Radeon HD 5450 work with a AMD B450/B500 motherboard ?

Just want to know if it will work. I know it's not really recommneded.

Suppose I get a AMD processor without graphics really cheap - for a second/test type system.
 
Running a 15-year-old GPU on a system running what version of Windows? I'll be doubtful if it runs on anything after Windows 7.

That's wonderful. I had this GPU once upon a time. And, I remember, I had problems finding workable drivers for is on Windows 8 (or 10). Don't remember it exactly.
