laptop under 40000 for coding

In my opinion, for coding work, you should get an i5 at the least. Republic sale is going on and you can get some good i5 laptops below 45K. i5+8GB RAM ,you can get for 38-40K, but I will suggest to go for i5+16GB RAM, which you can get for under 45K. This will ensure that your coding work runs smoothly for long term.

If someone else is looking for one, something like this is great under 40k (much better choice than the HP one posted earlier, but both have TN panels). Most Intel laptops are just overpriced for its performance. FYI - R7 7730U can compete with i7 1255U or ultra 5 125H.

Below option has a better display but with a slightly weaker CPU (enough for most users IMO as it is more portable):

Please check this. Acer laptop. Ryzen 5, 6 cores, 16 GB RAM.

Hey just wanted to say that if you are going to get a laptop, you might consider getting a laptop with removable RAM and Storage.
If your laptop with soldered ram or fails you are left with a EXPENSIVE paper weight. Not only that upgradability is also a good thing to have.
Now i don't have experience with soldered ram or storage laptops ,nor do i know how many soldered rams fail in general, but just having that ability to remove your ram modules and replace them if they fail in general feels pretty reliable.
Recommend checking out reviews too if the thing you will do on it works.
Remember Battery Wr, storage and ram upgradability , body frame (metal / plastic), display quality count too.
