Is Jio blocking Reddit?

6pack

Northstar
Not opening for me today. Did a traceroute and it goes to reddit servers but gets directed to some local 255.0.0.x & 192.168.x.x address and then nothing. It just times out. Looks like some dns server is dropping reddit packets coming back to the pc.

edit: probably cloudflare issue. I switched to Nextdns in FF privacy settings and it opened.

From all the ISPs I have used, Jio is the most censored one. At one point it even blocked raw.githubusercontent.com
This reminds me of the time I tried to install extensions in Obsidian app but they wouldn't load. After many hours of not finding the solution online, I debugged it myself and realized that Jio was blocking githubusercontent.com. That pissed me off good. I searched the reasoning for Jio blocking it online and apparently they did it because "terrorists were using it for communication." Stupid fking corporation man.

yep was about say it! but it was not a cloudflare issue, i been facing similar issue, and for some reasons there were also connectivity issues from jio. the main issue is jio's way of handling routes.

also,
- sometimes try using different search engines, (for some reason last week most of the times duckduckgo wont work on jio but would work on airtel) had no issues with google on both
- whats more absurd was on some browsers net worked fine and on others it didnt, updating firefox fixed it (for those who use it)

Reddit won't load videos or images for me when I use jio fiber.
But works okay or sometimes good enough, if I use jio mobile data.
It used to be fine when I was using Airtel fiber.
