I’m looking to buy a phone through 3months EMI. I wanted to ask if there’s a safe way to do this with the help of Tech Enclave members.
  • How does this process usually work when someone helps with an EMI purchase?
  • What are the safest ways to handle payments and ensure everything is smooth for both parties?
  • Is anyone here willing to assist with this?
I’d really appreciate any guidance or offers of help. Thanks!

Typically no one helps with EMI. It could happen. You just pay the entire amount upfront usually.

not sure how many would accommodate you though. You literally joined January of this year.

I tried once for EMI here but nobody was willing to take the risk. Its too risky I know but any how I asked.

Since it looks like getting EMI help won’t be possible, I’m now willing to pay the full amount upfront for the iPhone 15 (₹60,999) iam going to purchase from Amazon. If anyone with an Amazon Pay ICICI card is open to placing the order for me, I’d like to deduct the ₹3,049 cashback from the total, so I’ll pay ₹57,950 instead.

There’s also another thing—I have a ₹9,800 prepaid gift card that my dad received from his office. Unfortunately, it’s not an Amazon gift card, and I can’t convert it into Amazon balance. I also tried using it at offline stores, but most places aren’t accepting it for the phone. If you have something you were planning to buy and can use this gift card, I can subtract that amount from my payment to you. That way, you get something you need, and I can make full use of the card as well.. Let me know if anyone is interested or has any other suggestions!


edit: making the use of the giftcard is optional if you dont want anything but still want to help with phone purchase.
