Hmm

Can you please share your thoughts on the regulator / dimmer / speed controller

I have seen the step type regulator where you can hear click sound while charging fan speed get corrupt easily. While the dimmer type where there is no sound works best with fan

Please share which one is good

Also once bearing is changed the fan is gone.. after few days it will damage again

Yeah. I'm also looking for one or two dimmers. We have 3 of them (a local brand here in Calcutta called Rider) and all of them have been working without even the tiniest problem for about 30 years now. Lol.

My family business is of electrical contracting.
Everything nowadays is automated
Remote controlled fans are being used everywhere in living spaces.

Both are good, as per users.

If you don't care much, use dimmer, mark number (speed level) with Marker and go ahead ....

Step Regulator (new style by Anchor is good but costly), you need to switch off fan and than gently increase or decrease speed and than again switch ON FAN. If you/family members try this on/off method and less frequently keep changing speeds than it work for long time.

some time elders in home with short eye vision and young (careless) children's unable to understand direction and over rotate it in any direction and that cause harm to regulator.

Step Regulator works ok for 2-3 or 5 years and Dimmer may work long but all depends on uses and Q&C of that hardware.
