Bought Shark air dryer for the missus from US and now I have gotten myself into a mess.

I have been searching amazon, flipkart and local stores no one has any which supports 1600w, the ones I am able to find are the size of airfryer.

I am ok to buy from China or HK as well. Any help would be appreciated.

Picked up Karcher SC3 yesterday for the same usage . Cello/Milton spin mop were not lasting , poor quality plastic . Still need to test it

this is huge man! Its like having an appliance for an appliance. Wife wont be happy :(

Plus needs to be portable
But this is the right one for a hair dryer. I bought a similar looking one from the US a long time back. Mine has a switch for low and high power mode though. It works fine for every 120V appliance I have.
I contacted the seller he wasn't sure as well. Which one did you buy from US? Do you have link?
Whichever you choose, make sure it has an active cooling.
Do you have any recommendation?

I bought it from Walmart for $20, more than a decade ago. There are no labels on it. It's a generic step-down converter which looks like that Rs 999 Amazon.in product.

I think the seller is playing safe here. These cheap transformers aren't supposed to be used with electronics. Yours is not a regular hair dryer, so it's kind of risky. My experience has been quite good with it as I've used it with sensitive electronics as well.

Go with @Heisen's recommendation. Power electronics that produce "no humming sound" are ideal for digital electronics.
