News RTX 50 series FE cards no longer require invite

Site is working for me. Guessing their servers got hit hard when this news came out.

Same here man. I got the RTX 2060 FE directly from NVIDIA / RP tech back in 2019, but looks like NVIDIA's completely given-up on us mainstream buyers.
I am on my 2060s to 5060ti 16gb upgrade path too. I am just waiting for that 45-48k deal. It was for this price on primeabgb. Zotac Twin fan, but they have increased the price now to 53k

Why not 7800xt at that price? 10% cheaper infact.
One would be playing 1080p with 5060ti, max 1440p, so DLSS4 doesn’t really matter when you get much better raw performance.
RT might be better, but 128bit bus will only get you so far.

5080 got sold out in a day while 5070 are still available on STPL . Either people don't know or they finally are calling out nvidia's bullshit.
Is 5070 bad or 5080 too good ?

Just asking, I don't have much idea about the 50** series, except all the drama

5070 is terrible, 5080 less so but both very underwhelming as upgrades.
Nvidia has reduced supply a lot, stopped 40 series production and did not replace it enough with 50 series. So much so that even though AMD has sold a lot apparently they cant make up for lack of supply from Nvdia since market is heavily dominated by Nvidia.

Those who need to buy, for them 5080 will be better as FE is not being sold at scalpers price. Everyone is becoming gpu scalper these days.

5080 24GB for 1.1 Lakhs would've been a better deal. What you have is 5070 Ti labelled as 5080 16GB and real 5080 is missing in action hence the huge void between 5080 & 5090 performance. Nvidia might launch it as 5080Ti/Super 24GB card in the near future.

Wait for the super model launches. I doubt they will launch 24 GB cards for 50 series, 18/20 GB would be my guess as 24 GB cards might hit their enterprise AI card offerings.

Honestly nvidia should sell founders edition like this 1 per person, Those greedy scalpers will go away if they do.
You can order as many as you like with different emails/phone no. I guess.
RTX 5080 was back in stock on STPL for sometime. Now again showing 0 available.
