I recommend a Geforce GTX 260 Core 216. It performs as well as a Radeon 4870 1GB but is priced much lower. Your psu should be able to handle the Geforce GTX 260 Core 216.

First thing you should upgrade is your monitor to atleast a 22 incher. Then your 4850 sonic would be performing to its full potential. Along with the monitor, I would also upgrade the cpu to a higher core 2 duo (e8400+) or quad core. If you just upgrade the gpu, you won't see much performance...

Good card and by the looks of it a very good low budget solution for Crossfire.

If 15k is your budget, I highly recommend you get a Radeon 4870 1gb. It should last you three years. I don't reside in Bangalore so can't help you on finding a good shop for the card.

xfx 4890 is available for 20k on techshop.in :hap2:

funny thing is gtx 275 is available on techshop.in whereas the 4890 is not...gtx 275 was supposedly a paper launch in the U.S. yet the story is different in India.....is the 4890 available anywhere in Nehru Place????
