I'm not sure of the technicals or how its supposed to work but I always feel that a 2 star A/c cools must more effectively than a 5 star A/c. 5 star might save you money but it comes at the efficiency of cooling IMO. I dont have any science or logic to back it up but its been my observation...

DVI-I dual link is what I used earlier. Can set native resolution but the text goes fuzzy and pixelated. Its a problem with the U2711 which is common amongst all users of the model. Only workaround is to use a display port cable.
