x1950 Pro all the way. Even though 8600 GT is DX 10 capable, I doubt it would be able to handle DX 10 games the way they were meant to be played. Plus, I think DX 9 still has some life left in it. It's going to take a while before DX 10 goes mainstream.

I got suggested this processor by some of the members here...I'm going to be buying it soon..it's good if you're on a really tight budget. :D I also hear it's a good overclocker, you can take it to 4800+ speeds easily on stock cooling itself it seems. So yeah it's a great value for money buy...
