yup.... pl did tell me that... but i didn have so much time to be calling up dell rep n rep..... vaise the 3k extra disc would have been real cool.....

gettin the 8600 fit on the least costly of them xps lappies would have meant 63k.. with the extra stuff i had to buy, that was outta mah budget. and yup, i got the 1yr added warranty after bargaining wid no extra costs.

hey,.. i just ordered a inspiron 1520... the quotation they 1st sebt mne was for 56,200... but i finally got it down to 54,500..... with dell care (he 2yr one)added for no extra charges...

what is the basic difference b/w a on-site warranty and complete cover..... can i get a 1 yr comlete cover alone... its notmentioned in their customization page.....i think i will get a 2 yr extension later....also can you please clarify the 8600 coming with ddr2 instead of ddr3...cozon their...
