Getting an amp alone is not enough. You have to understand the potential of individual components in the audio chain. M50x caliber headphone certainly does not need massive amplification but it at least deserves a better source and amp than your mobile phone(as source) and E7,E11(substandard...

Keep the bass knob at 40-45%. Above that it'll get all boomy. Even then this sub is very position dependent. Try various locations and block one of the bass ports.

D9 is just about ok sounding. Sub is acceptable but the satellites have a brittle midrange and highs roll off too quickly.
