The current i5/8gb/WVGA XPS is around 43k. So fine, if not 40 then 50 sounds good. But 1L+ seems highly unlikely.

Sata cables have a 1m limitation thats why they're all 45cms or 60cms, heck no one even pushes to 90cms because of the risk of data errors in cables. You must've got ESATA right?
