A suggestion i would have is go for Edifier R1280DBs (12,284 on amazon right now) over the Edifier R1280DB (10,661 on amazon rn) R1280DBs has a dedicated Subwoofer Line out which you can then connect a subwoofer to. I would also agree on this

These are great speakers.. But they lack the sub woofer mentioned by OP. I have owned Edifier R2000DB for last 2 years.. They are rock solid. They also lack a dedicated sub woofer... I do think that the budget is lacking for studio monitors + sub woofer
