There isnt many useful options on the unlocked BIOS so flashing it isnt useful. It did have an option to not use UEFI cards on boot, but that never worked. GOPupd inserts the UEFI option inside the VBIOS of older cards making them work with the 4700S, this is a much better fix to the issue.
