It should have a Part Number / ID and available as a spare part. It should be common across multiple laptops based on the same chassis / generation. Check with the local Asus service center first.

The upgrade option looked lucrative if the Processor was a loss. 10th gen will still get the job done that you're asking of it. As long as you don't feel your workflow is getting slowed down due to the system.... I'd keep it.

Try disabling all but one of the cores in the BIOS and run your day to day tasks... Goodluck !
