    51-70k Gaming Rig Under 60k

Agree with @Mac.rock7 on the monitor. Get a huge 3D monitor (24" or 27") and about 10-11k graphics card. OP's cousin won't probably bother to switch on all AA and AF. Don't go for office type monitors, like Dell ones. The processor can be a basic i5 or a bit higher like @Zloyd has suggested...

Budget 35-52k: Sony CB45 or not (Asus K53SM-SX010D)? Owners please help.

@bking Appreciate your feedback mate. The Asus is my alternate choice. If not CB45, it will most probably be that one. I'm in Kolkata right now but will be in Haryana next month. How is the screen contrast and brightness compared to other laptops in the 40k range? Did you try overclocking the...

Budget 35-52k: Sony CB45 or not (Asus K53SM-SX010D)? Owners please help.

Thanks for your reply, Mac.rock7. The models you have suggested have nice specs. However, as I said earlier, I'll spend about 50k or more only if there's something special like the FHD screen in CB45. Otherwise I feel that the i5+4gb+630M in K53SM-SX010D is enough for my needs as of now (I...

Budget 35-52k: Sony CB45 or not (Asus K53SM-SX010D)? Owners please help.

Hi TEmates, I'm going for MBA and will need a laptop for web browsing, MS Office, watching movies (mainly 720p and below), photoshop/lightroom (do photography), and occasional gaming (I used to be a die-hard gamer a few years ago). 15.x" screen is a must. · What's your Budget? 35-52K ·...

confusion between hp dv6 7012tx and vaio cb45

Upgrade options are close to none in the laptop departments you've mentioned, at least here in India. There are some options abroad but those are limited to a few countries and laptop models. Please keep these in mind before you choose. The graphics solution in DV6 is better. However, you get...

41-50k Laptop needed for web design/development, lightweight gaming amongst other things.

Lot of browser tabs, photoshop and HD video; Seems that a FHD will be a must for you. CB45 would be apt for you but you may have to increase the DPI. As far as 17" goes, I've heard of 1600x900 in Vostro 3550. No other options in your budget coming to my mind.

The first pair of IEM's your bought??

My first IEMs are a pair of Klipsch Image S4 I got a few days back for 3.7k. I've used a pair of Sony cans (XDR-200) earlier which cost 1.5k 2 years ago. Sound separation is very good and the bass is quite punchy yet with the right amount of boom. When I opened the pack 8 days ago, they sounded...
