UPDATE: Just received an order confirmation from Macconnection, though the point still would be that card would be charged on shipping, this order is going to the SNS address. UPDATE 2: Order cancelled, they ran out of stocks! :(

Spoke to macconnection customer care, as of now the order is unconfirmed and she could not fetch any more details, says they are swamped by orders all of a sudden and does not if there are stocks, asked me to call around 6pm EST.

Ok, now what is the way out, have ordered with them, ordered not yet confirmed, shall I get my credit card company to place a block on this transaction?

bad news, have another order on B&N, was placed around the same time as kuduku, fingers crossed, have asked friend who ordered to call up B&N. Edit: Someone on slickdeals just got a "ready to ship" that too for a backordered email order! Crazy stuff, are they getting to know we are calling from...

I shipped it to a friend in CA, while I was told, they do not have stock, at least person on slickdeal reported this: "CHECK THE STATUS OF YOUR BB ORDER. IF THE STATUS READS "being fulfilled" and "ships in 0 - 1 days" I called BB this morning in hopes of cancelling my order but they said it was...

Just talked to someone on BestBuy, the customer representative said they don't have any stock at all even for in process orders, they will never be shipping it. anyone else have any information form BestBuy?
