The CV450 is 125mm long, compared to most other ATX PSUs which are >140mm in length. Looking for a low-wattage unit for a low-power build. Will keep budget at 2000 as 700 more can get a new one. 80+ rating not necessary, but nice to have.

Well. The rs 1500 sbi card discount brings the price down and I'd rather have the discount on the card than a nebulous free dlc download on games that i don't own. Edit: One gets forspoken and saints row, neither of which have actually been released yet. Just not a good deal is it.

Gonna have to decline on the grounds that I don't want to kill myself. Very risky to open up one of these for a non-serious pro, these caps carry a lot of charge, can cause serious harm.

There's really no good reason to go with something like a VS500L which goes for 2k on Amazon if you're looking for a serious PC build that has an R5/i5 and a discrete GPU. Decent units that atleast have specifications you can look up on psucultists spreadsheet are available at only 500 more, and...
