So damn true. I got this USB HUB from Aliexpress and I didn't know something like A2119 existed which could drive 4k at 60HZ, that too directly from Apple.

How are you connecting it to a 4k monitor ? By using some third party accessory ? I have one but it kind of lags. Would appreciate if you can share your setup.

I couldn't resist and ended up buying Synology's DS220+ It seems like a huge upgrade coming from WD's EX2 Ultra. And docker containers are fun to play with.

Thank you @boooo , But I doubt a Raspberry pi can handle Plex and Transcoding. Not sure about their latest model but I do have Raspberry Pi 3B+ model and it isn't very powerful.

They do have Power supply issues as per my research. I wonder if they have fixed these in their latest versions. Thank you, I will look into it more.

That's pretty bad. I already have a WD one but I wanted more features and the compact size of a pre built NAS is an advantage compared to building one yourself (I do have limited space where its going to be) and Synology's DSM software is better compared to WD, especially you can add Docker...

Right, I believe their + Models are better suited for transcoding. I am eyeing DS220+. I didnt know Plex has problems playing wmv, avi files, looks like I will need to update my library to mp4/mpk. Thank you for the update.
