Venomous X, and 1.575V. Thats my standard voltage to get to know the multiplier. It doesnt even mean anything for the end user, since its very much possible that it cannot even boot to windows with that voltage.(ofcourse its also very much possible that its even prime stable at those volts).

What Rakesh is doing is comparatively pretty cheap as a project (not for 24/7 usage IMO) and gives decent performance. You can even go till 0 to -10C with the setup of the right mix of water-cooling and a beefier TEC. Just that, you would need to use the cold side of the TEC to cool the CPU...

yeah, your Idea is pretty practical man, and which has been done many times before, so you wont be going in blind. And even though if a bit inefficient, you will still be getting decent improvement in temp.

Re: Very bad experience with SMC Actually, till the time you tell them you are from TE or E, they will take you for a ride, which is I guess a normal practice in NP ( very regrettable) without which it would be hard for them to survive. Its sad though that your friend met with rude behavior...
