Honestly, I don't even know what I am looking for right now. The i5-6500 makes sense at that price point, but is it necessary for my needs? Will the i3-6100 suffice? As @nac mentioned above, I'll probably be sticking to the 750Ti, so I'm hoping the i3 CPU will be enough for that.

Amazon has an i3 6100 at 9.1k, while the 41xx series are all in 8k range. The i3 6300 is at a whopping 14k, though. Is it really that big of a performance jump? Should I go ahead and order the 6100 right away?
